The curriculum for East Point Academy has a High-Scope design based on a developmental approach for children. This includes learning centers, child-initiated activities, small group activities, and large group activities which encourage active learning.

The program allows each child the opportunity to explore, manipulate, and interact with a variety of materials and activities.

Being aware that childhood education is not limited to classroom situations, the East Point Academy adheres to the belief that the family is the primary unit in the child's life with the school being a secondary supportive unit and a partner with the parents.
